XVIII AMB Static Modelling Competition
Oh, what emotions! What masterpieces!
This 18th edition of the model making competition was an explosion of creativity that left us speechless. Each model exhibited was a journey into the imagination, a one-of-a-kind work of art.
Our heartfelt thanks go to all the participants. You've shown that modeling is much more than a hobby: it's a true art form, capable of moving and uniting people of all ages.
A special round of applause goes to today's winners, who stood out for their originality, precision, and mastery. But we want to emphasize that every participant is a winner, having put their heart and soul into every single detail of their creations.
Thanks to everyone who made this event possible: sponsors, judges, and volunteers. Without your support, we couldn't have had this fantastic experience.

Scale Model Challenge 2024
SMC 2024 is already history, but just saying it was successful is an understatement. It was a blast. We broke our own records again. The SMC record, that is. We also did a WME in 2022, as some of you may remember, but even those numbers come close except for number of contest entries.
The numbers:
- 89 volunteers were present over 4 days to make the show a success.
- We had 2,772 models in the contest, by 708 artists, from 39 countries.
- There were a dazzling 172 vendors divided over 150 vendor stands.
- And most of all, we welcomed an unprecedented number of over 5,000 visitors
Although it is impossible to make everyone happy, the amount of smiling faces throughout the weekend, natural or stimulated by a surplus of adult beverages in the evenings, the atmosphere during the event, was heart-warming.

Models under the Lantern 2024
The Luci e Ombre Association, together with Burned Black Zena, under the patronage of the Municipality of Genoa, are organizing the second edition of "Models under the Lantern" on October 5 and 6, 2024, at the Sala Chiamata del Porto, Piazzale S. Benigno in Genoa. This will host the "4th City of Genoa Trophy" static modeling competition and the "10th Edition of Genoa Figurine's Empire" historical and fantasy figurine exhibition and competition in a single event.
This year too, MILITIA MODELS was present as a shop and as a partner of the Organization, offering two special "barbarian" themed prizes, both in the Master and Standard categories.

Hobby Model Expo 2024
Since 1978, Hobby Model Expo has been the most important Italian trade fair dedicated to the world of model making.
Model railways, model aircraft, model ships, static modelling: every aspect of this fascinating universe is displayed here in all its glittering splendor.
Each category sees the participation of the most important manufacturers, retailers and magazines in the sector, accompanied by presentations of model layouts of all scales, competitions, handling tanks, circuits, flight tests and much more.

MiniArt Belgioioso 2024
The Belgioioso Mini Art Festival is an event dedicated to the passion for the world of miniatures. It will take place at Belgioioso Castle , in the province of Pavia, on September 21st and 22nd 2024 , offering a unique opportunity to meet enthusiasts and artists from all over Italy and to learn new techniques for creating your own painted miniatures.
The event offers a variety of activities for enthusiasts of this art form, including a competitive contest, a market area with exhibitors and sales, workshops with international painters and model makers, and a role-playing area with fantasy and historical-themed demo tables.

Deutsche und Internationale Zinnfigurenbörse
29th edition of the German tin figures and toy soldier fair.
Every two years Kulmbach becomes a mecca for lovers and collectors of all types of figures. During the fair you will have the opportunity to meet model makers and painters, get to know prestigious brands and offer, purchase or exchange figures and toys. Collectors and lovers of the sector from all over the world will be able to meet in Kulmbach to give free rein to their passion.
During the days of the fair, thanks to the collaboration between
the Municipality of Kulmbach and the association of friends of the Museen auf der Plassenburg, the German Museum of Tin Figurines, will hold an exhibition-competition of figurines and dioramas.

Novegro Model Contest
The third static modeling competition at the Novegro Exhibition Park. In association with the most important Italian modeling companies, Novegro Model Contest is a competition open to all categories:

The XXIII Edition of Modellismo che Passione
It will be held on 16 / 17 March 2024 , at the CH4 Sporting Club in Via Trofarello, 10 Turin, the new edition of the Turin exhibition-tournament. MILITIA MODELS will be there, not only with its commercial proposals but also as a sponsor of the "L'Età Barbarica" Award: a special prize for the best sketch of a barbarian subject for both the Masters and the Standards.
